The Senior Citizen Card issued by the Social Welfare Department provides a generally recognized proof of age to elders so as to facilitate their access to concessions, discounts or priority services offered by Government departments, public companies, private and commercial establishments.
Hong Kong residents aged 65 or aboveare eligible for the Card.

Validity period and charges |
There is no validity period for the Senior Citizen Card and the card is not necessary to be renewed every year. Issue of the first card is free. |

Applicants can submit the completed application form and required documents to the Senior Citizen Card Office by the following channels:
