Driving with an IDP issued in Hong Kong is permissible in only some countries/places.
An IDP issued in Hong Kong should be valid for driving in some countries / places, and these countries / places** are Contracting States to the International Conventions concluded at Geneva on 19 September 1949. Please refer to the following list, to find out the contracting countries / places:
An IDP is valid for a year. When it is expired, the holder can only apply for a new one, because there is no renewal service.
