Detailed requirements of address proof 

  1. Correspondence / bills / envelopes (e.g. Bank statements or water / electricity / gas bills) issued within the last 3 months with:

    1. applicant's name;

    2. address;

    3. issuing party; and

    4. issue date / postmark date printed on them.

  2. If the correspondence address and the residential address are different, you must provide proofs of both addresses.

  3. If an overseas residential address proof is provided, you must provide your Hong Kong correspondence address proof at the same time in order to get approval of your application.

  4. "P.O. Box" address will not be accepted as a residential address proof.

  5. The Transport Department will return the address proofs after the processing of your application is completed.
