1823 is now looking for passionate new recruits to join us as Customer Service Representative to handle enquiries and complaints from the public through phone, email, etc. If you fulfill the following entry requirements, you are welcome to apply for the post:

  1. Be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment; and
  2. Got 5 subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language at Level 2/ Grade E or above in HKCEE/HKDSEE or equivalent; and
  3. One year or more full-time working experience (preferably in call centre operation or customer service) ; and
  4. Speak fluent English and Cantonese (fluent Putonghua is an advantage); and
  5. Be proficient in PC applications, including Chinese typing skill  (10 words per minute).

Applicants are required to take Chinese word processing speed assessment. Training will be provided to the new recruits. Continuous employment will be given to those who pass the post-training assessments. The monthly salary of this post is $12,140. Upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period, a gratuity may be granted to the appointee who has consistently achieved a high standard of performance and conduct. 

Successful candidates are required to assume duty at short notice and are subject to deployment to the 1823 offices in Yau Ma Tei or Kwai Chung.
