1823 is now recruiting Temporary Customer Service Officers to handle enquiries and complaints from the public through phone and emails, etc.

To become Temporary Customer Service Officer, you should

  1. Be a permanent resident of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment; and
  2. Have got 5 subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language at Level 2/ Grade E or above in HKCEE/HKDSEE or equivalent; and
  3. Speak fluent English and Cantonese (fluent Putonghua is an advantage); and
  4. Be proficient in PC applications, including Chinese typing skill.  

Interviews will be arranged in early February 2018. Successful candidates are required to assume duty in early March 2018 the earliest. Continuous employment will be given to those who pass the post-training assessments. During the training, the hourly salary is $68 which will be raised to $74 after the training.

To support the service offered by 1823, new recruits are subject to deployment to any offices of 1823 in Yau Ma Tei or Kwai Chung. This post is required to work on shifts, most likely in the daytime (from 9:00am to 6:00pm) from Monday to Friday. The post may be required to work as scheduled in the event of inclement weather such as during typhoon and black rainstorm.
