If defects or abnormalities are detected when using an electrical appliance, such as having burnt smell, smoke, spark, strong vibration, loud noise, switch tripping or blown fuse, etc., please stop using it immediately and unplug it from the power source.  If there is any imminent danger or you need emergency support, please call 999.

To check whether an electrical appliance is safe, you may request a supplier or maintenance service provider, or employ a registered electrical contractor or electrical worker for inspection and repair.  You may check the list of registered contractors and workers online, please click here.
