How to check the status of delivery after a Local CourierPost Mail is mailed?

Tracking Local CourierPost Mail

Senders must, within 5 months from the date of mailing, make a request to track an item. Senders can track an item in the following way:
 

Track with item number

Format of the item number *of CourierPost mail: DA XXXXXXXXX HK 

(*Note: XXXXXXXXX = 9 digits)

1. Internet

Enter the item number on Mail Tracking page of Hongkong Post

2. Enquiry Number 2921 2560

Call the 24-hour enquiry number 2921 2560 and input the item number

3. Enquiry Number 2921 2211

Call the enquiry number 2921 2211
(answered by staff during office hours : Mon -Fri 9am -7pm, Sat 9am -5pm, except public holidays)

4. Enquiry Form Pos28B

Fill in the form and submit with supporting documents -

  • by mail to Mail Tracing Office, Hongkong Post, 12/F Kennedy Town Community Complex, 12 Rock Hill Street, Kennedy Town, Hong Kong;
  • in person to any post office; or
  • fax to 2543 0469.
5. Download Hongkong Post Mobile AppUse the function of Mail Tracking and trace the mail items by simply entering the mail item number or scanning the QR Code shown on the receipt of posting


Track without item number (e.g. loss of item number)

Please call the enquiry number 2921 2211 (answered by staff during office hours: Mon -Fri 9am -7pm, Sat 9am -5pm, except public holidays) and provide details such as the date of mailing and the post office at which the item is mailed. Hongkong Post will try to track the item with the name of sender and addressee, the address, etc. However, it may take a longer time if the item number cannot be provided.
