Am I to receive an electronic and a paper-based pre-filled application form for financial assistance for primary and secondary students ?

Starting from mid March 2026, the Student Finance Office (SFO) will issue (1) notification email / (2) the access code to all continuing applicants (note). 
 

1. If continuing applicants already have an “eWFSFAA” account and have completed identity verification

The SFO will issue a notification email to the email address registered in their “eWFSFAA” account. A notification SMS will also be issued to these applicants.  Continuing applicants may login “eWFSFAA” with “iAM Smart” or username and password to access their “Pre-filled E-Form”.
 

2. If continuing applicants have not completed identity verification or have not yet created an “eWFSFAA” account

• The SFO will issue an email/ letter containing a 16-digit Access Code to these applicants.
• For continuing applicants who provided a complete email address in their 2025/26 SY applications, the SFO will issue the Access Code to them by email for their accessing of 2026/27 SY Pre-filled E-Form. A notification SMS will also be issued to these applicants.
• For other continuing applicants who did not provide a complete email address in their 2025/26 SY applications, the SFO will issue the Access Code to them, in form of a letter, by post.
   

In addition, continuing applicants who opted in their 2025/26 application to receive a paper-based pre-filled form for the 2026/27 school year will also receive the paper-based pre-filled form starting from April 2026.
 

(Note) Continuing applicants are applicants who have successfully applied for financial assistance in the 2025/26 school year, on or before 1 March 2026 for primary and secondary students or pre-primary students, and the children will be attending Primary 1 in the 2026/27 school year.
