What are the charges for land register / land document and which payment methods can I use?

Charges for Land Search & payment methods 

Customers can conduct search of land registers and place orders for imaged land documents for properties through Counter Search and Self-service Search services at the Land Registry's Customer Centre at Queensway and the Search Offices in the New Territories (NTSOs). Besides, the IRIS Online Services provides users with a full range of search services through the Internet.

Payment Methods

• Counter Search Service:
  By cash / cheque / EPS / credit card (VISA / Mastercard / UnionPay / JCB) / Octopus / FPS.
• Self-service Search Service:
  By credit card (VISA / Mastercard / UnionPay / JCB) / PPS / Octopus / FPS.
• Integrated Registration Information System (IRIS) Online Service:
  • For ad hoc users, online payment by credit card (Mastercard/VISA/UnionPay/JCB) , PPS and FPS (for the desktop version) or by credit card  (Mastercard/VISA/UnionPay/JCB), FPS, Apple Pay and Google Pay (Mastercard and VISA only) (for the mobile version) will be accepted. 
  • Services fees for subscribers are settled by monthly autopay.
