How can I know if I have successfully submitted the online application for HOS 2025?

Applicants will receive "payment confirmation email" and "application confirmation email" after the online application for HOS 2025 is submitted successfully. 

The 1st email  - payment confirmation email 

• The email will be sent upon the completion of the payment transaction within 1 day.
• It contains information including the transaction reference number (NOT the application number) and payment status.

The 2^nd email - application confirmation email with application number

• [Applicable to online applicants of HOS 2025 (White Form) ]

  • The email will normally be sent to you within 2 days upon confirmation of payment of the application fee.
  • It contains information including the application number, extra ballot number (if any) and payment status.

• [Applicable to Green Form (GF) online applicants who are living in the HA’s public rental housing estates or the Housing Society’s rental estates]

  • The staff in your estate office/district tenancy management office/rental estate office will contact you to verify the household information upon receipt of their online application.
  • GF applicants and all family members aged 18 or above are required to sign a copy of the application form (except digital signing) prepared by the estate office/district tenancy management office/rental estate office and return it to the estate office/district tenancy management office/rental estate office for follow-up action.
  • The application number and extra ballot number (if any) will be emailed to them after the signed application form is received by the HA.

If you did not receive the 1^st email

• The 1^st email would normally be sent within 1 day after successful payment, you can check again later and please also check your Spam or Bulk email folder.
• If the system does not show a successful payment screen after completing the online payment, you can check with the credit card issuer whether the payment has been made successfully.
• If the credit card issuer cannot confirm the payment, you can call the "HA Sales and WSM Hotline" at 2712 8000 30 minutes after submitting the application.  After selecting language, press 1 > 6 > 1 and enter the applicant's identity card number to check the application status.
• If the credit card issuer confirmed payment was made but the system has no record, please contact the HOS Sales Unit to follow up.  

If you did not receive the 2^nd email

• The 2^nd email would normally be sent within 2 days after application is submitted successfully with the application fee paid, you can check again later and please also check your Spam or Bulk email folder.
• If you cannot receive the email after 2 days, please call the "HA Sales and WSM Hotline" at 2712 8000, select the language, then press 1 > 6 > 1 and enter the applicant's identity card number as prompted to check the application number.
• If the system does not have the application record, please contact the HOS Sales Unit to follow up.
