Ballot date and how does the HA determine the order of applicants 

• Ballots for GSH 2024 was drawn on 2 October 2025 to determine the sequence of the last two digits of the application numbers and extra ballot numbers (if any) held by applicants. Based on the ballot result, the HA will randomly generate the order of all applicants holding the same drawn digits of application number / extra ballot number within different application categories by computer.
• The random order for applicants with extra ballot numbers will be determined by the ballot number with higher priority according to the ballot results.
• The HA will, in accordance with the order of priority, issue letters/emails (for applicants who submitted online applications and opted to receive electronic notifications) and invite applicants holding a valid Green Form Certificate to submit the income and asset declaration form and supporting documents for detailed vetting, so as to ascertain whether individual applicants meet the eligibility criteria for GSH 2024 and the final priority for flat selection of eligible applicants.
   

How to check "ballot results" and "random order" 
You may check the "ballot results" and "random order" via the following channels -

1. Visiting the GSH 2024 website - 
   • Ballot Results
   • Random Order 
2. [checking the random order] Use the "Check Application Status" function on the GSH 2024 Website and enter applicant’s Hong Kong identity card number; 
3. [checking the random order] Calling the IVRS of the HA Sales and WSM Hotline at 2712 8000 - 
   • Press 1 (Cantonese) or 2 (Putonghua) to choose language (only Cantonese and Putonghua versions are available for this function),
   • press 2 > 6 > 2,
   • then enter the application number (without G) and the first 6 digits of the ID number of the applicant
4. Going in person to -
   • Estate Offices / District Tenancy Management Offices of Housing Authority (HA);
   • Estate Offices of the Housing Society (HS);
   • Housing Authority Customer Service Centre (near Lok Fu MTR Station);
   • Public Enquiry Centres of Home Affairs Department; or
   • GSH Sales Unit (near Kwun Tong MTR Station).
