Is there any receipt for payment of rates and/or Government rent?
Rating and Valuation DepartmentThe Rating and Valuation Department (RVD) only issues receipts for payment of rates and/or Government rent made in person at the Post Offices or convience stores.
If the payer pays for rates and/or Government rent through other means and need to obtain a receipt of payment, the payer may request for a “Record of Payment” from RVD. The latest payment within the past 6 months will be displayed on the “Record of Payment”, together with the account number, tenement address, date of receipt and paid amount, but the period settled by that payment will not be shown. If there were more than one payment on the same day, the total amount paid on that day will be shown.
The “Record of Payment” is provided free of charge. You may obtain the document through the following channels -

Request Further Payment Records
If the payer requires records of payment made more than 6 months ago, or records not of the latest payment, a written submission detailing the request to RVD is necessary. A fee of $540 for each enquiry on each property will be charged for the service.
