Could HOS applicants request to change the appointed flat selection time?

Flat selection for HOS 2025 commence from 21 Oct 2026.  The HA will issue flat selection notification to eligible applicants in writing or by email according to their priority.  If an HOS applicant needs to change his/her appointed time for flat selection (the appointment can only be postponed but cannot be advanced), the applicant has to seek the HOS Sales Unit’s prior approval in writing. Change of appointment can only be effected upon approval.

How to make a request to change appointed time for flat selection

1. If an HOS applicant needs to change his/her appointed time for flat selection (the appointment can only be postponed but cannot be advanced), the applicant has to seek the HOS Sales Unit’s prior approval in writing.  Change of appointment can only be effected upon approval. 
   • the written request should include:
     • application number
     • random order (i.e. flat selection order)
     • name of applicant 
     • contact phone number
     • reason to change the appointed time 
     • date of the request
     • signed by the applicant
   • ways to submit the written request
     • By mail to: HOS Sales Unit, Podium Level 1, Hong Kong Housing Authority Customer Service Centre, 3 Wang Tau Hom South Road, Kowloon; or 
     • by fax to: 2339 6680
        
2. The HOS Sales Unit will contact the applicant after receiving the request. 

Points to Note:

• If approval is obtained, the applicant's original order of priority for flat selection will be deferred accordingly.
• The HA and the HD will not guarantee that there will be available quota / flat for selection under the category that the applicant belongs to after change of the appointment.
