Property owners should inform the Buildings Department (BD) as soon as possible after completing the rectification of unauthorized building works (UBW). This allows BD to conduct inspections so that BD can confirm compliance with the relevant order or warning notice.

Information required

You can use the form "Notification for completion of works" attached to the covering letter of the "Warning Notice", or provide the following information in the written notification:

  • The number of the order or warning notice

  • Contact telephone number

  • The address of the concerned building

  • Photographs evidencing completion of the works

  • If the rectification or demolition works fall under the Minor Works category, please provide a copy of the relevant Minor Works Completion Certificate:

    • Level I Minor Works Completion Certificate: MW02

    • Level II Minor Works Completion Certificate: MW04

    • Level III Minor Works Completion and Notification Certificate: MW05
